Global News: Comedian Jon Stewart joined Speaker Nancy Pelosi and 9/11 survivors and
first responders Friday morning to push for permanent authorization of
the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund.
The comedian and former Daily Show host has been a champion in the fight
to compensate the police officers, firefighters, paramedics and
volunteers who developed cancer and other health issues following the
2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
