Statement from Governor Andrew Cuomo
"I
am appalled by reports of a threatening message posted on Facebook
calling for a mass shooting of Watertown's LGBTQ community during Pride
activities.
"In
New York, we have zero tolerance for such cowardly acts and I've asked
State Police to assist local authorities to prosecute this individual to
the fullest extent of the law.
"New York stands tallest when we stand together, and we will call out bigotry and hate wherever and whenever we see it."
