Final Verdict on General Electric’s PCB Cleanup Likely Five Decades Away, Federal Officials Announce

The EPA deferred its conclusions on the work done on the river north of Albany, and promised to make sure the environmental cleansing effort was completed to its satisfaction. The “Certificate of Completion of the Work” for GE is likely more than five decades down the road, the EPA said.
