Barr Faces Mueller Report Questions in Testimony to House Committee

Complete Coverage

PBS NewsHour: Attorney General William Barr testified today in a House appropriations subcommittee hearing. Barr's opening remarks did not mention special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia report. The hearing is largely about the Justice Department's Fiscal Year 2020 budget request, but that hasn't stopped lawmakers from asking Barr about when the report would be made public, and how Barr reached the conclusions in his own four page summary of the report.

The hearing begins at the 5:00 mark.
