'Critical Thinking' Vital to Public Trust in U.S. Elections, Homeland Security Official Says


PBS NewsHour: Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., asked election officials in a House committee hearing on election security what issues keep them up at night, in terms of both actual security and public perception. Christopher Krebs, a top cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security, said the U.S. needs to do more to reinforce critical thinking as Americans are deluged with information and misinformation about their voting rights.
