House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi has accused congressional
Republicans of enabling what she calls "the mayhem" at the White House.
In her first public comments since the New York Times published an
anonymous op-ed by a senior administration official criticizing the
president's personal conduct in office. She also said that the
president's response to the op-ed on Twitter, where he said "Treason?'
was a "manifestation of his instability." She also joked about Vice
President Pence being the author of the piece, but added that her party
remains focused on the issues that matter to the voters ahead of the
November midterms.
