city cab driver was found dead in his Brooklyn home Friday — the sixth
cabbie to commit suicide this year, according to the New York Taxi
Workers Alliance.
Abdul
Saleh, 59, a Yemeni immigrant who regularly put in 12 hours a day
behind the wheel — was found hanged in his Flatlands apartment on King’s
Highway at 9 a.m., said Bhairavi Desai, director of the NYTWA.
