At a House GOP leaders news conference, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said
President Trump made the “right” decision to rescind the Deferred Action
Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, saying lawmakers would aim to find a
compromise on the program as part of a larger immigration package. The
speaker also said lawmakers would remain in Washington until emergency
funding for Hurricane Harvey victims is approved.
