Here is an expanded version of the third item from my "Albany Insider" column from Monday's print editions:
As he prepares to seek re-election for the second time next year, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has reached a personal fund-raising milestone.
Schneiderman on Monday will report having $7.5 million in campaign cash on hand, the most he’s ever had in the bank at one time, a source familiar with the filing said. By comparison, the AG had $4.2 million on hand at the same point in the 2014 election cycle.
He had $6.3 million in cash on hand in January, the last time he was required to file.
