Clergy, Religious Leaders and Advocates to Discuss Access to Medical Care in Hudson County

Jersey City, NJ – On June 15, the National Action Network is convening clergy from Hudson County and surrounding areas to discuss access to quality health care and solutions for Hudson County ranking last when comes to access to quality health care for people of color.
 

More than fifty years after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, health care and access to services for racial and ethnic minorities remains in many ways separate and unequal.
 

The meeting will be held at 373 Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
 

Those expected to attend include: Pastor Steffie Bartley, NAN NJ coordinator, Jerry Walker, Hudson County Freeholder, Rabbi Abe Friedman and other local Rabbis, Pastor Francis Teabout, Open Door Worship Center, Demetrius M. Terry, Executive Director of Coalition Greenville Health Access, Lord Dowdell, National Action Network, Jersey City clergy and clergy from Hudson County and surrounding areas.
