A transgender woman found badly hurt, apparently severely beaten, on a Manhattan sidewalk late last month has died of her injuries, law enforcement sources close to the investigation tell NBC 4 New York.
The
59-year-old woman was found with head trauma outside a Five Guys on
Seventh Avenue around 10:30 p.m. April 25. She was unconscious when she
was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where she died 10 days later, on
Thursday.
