Earlier today, members from Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration and the National Organization for Women of New
York joined the fight to end child marriage in New York State. Office
of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito and NOW President Sonia
Ossorio delivered remarks at the State Capitol on the Governor's
legislation to raise the age of consent to marry in New York from 14 to
18-years-old. More information on the Governor's proposal is available here.
