‘Declaration 17' Public Reading to Be Held in New York City

New York, NY  - Hundreds of people have signed the Declaration of Independence In Opposition to The Policies and Practices of President Trump, a historic document modeled after the nation’s July 4, 1776 Declaration of Independence.

The signatories of Declaration 17 have declared their independence from the policies and practices of President Trump and his administration and will unite for an inaugural reading on March 20 at the Society for Ethical Culture in New York City.

An open alliance of close to eight hundred private individuals from across the country have signed on to a historic document modeled after our nation’s July 4, 1776 Declaration of Independence.

According to Norman Siegel, civil rights attorney: "We will be holding our inaugural public reading of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights on Monday, March 20. The readings will demonstrate how the principles and values set forth in these founding documents differ from those of President Trump and his administration".

The event will be presented by Declaration17 and the Ethical Culture Society, which is located at West 64th Street and Central Park West in Manhattan, from 7-9p.m. All are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
