Mayor De Blasio Says His Office Stands with Undocumented Immigrants

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.-- Mayor de Blasio took to Twitter early Sunday morning, after a week of immigration-related arrests by federal officials.

Just before 6 a.m., he tweeted his office will stand with the "nearly 40 percent of New Yorkers who are foreign born--documented or undocumented."

He also tweeted that NYPD officers will never ask about immigration status.

His office then posted information for immigrants seeking legal assistance.
