The fighting between Senate Democrats and the Independent Democratic Conference continued on Tuesday afternoon.
In the morning, it was Queens Sen. Mike Gianaris, the deputy minority
leader, who in a radio interview blasted the growing eight-member IDC
for their alignment with the Senate Republican conference, linking them
to President Donald Trump in the process.
IDC spokeswoman Candice Giove responded, saying the mainline conference’s leadership isn’t equipped to combat Trump’s policies.
