Brother of North Korean Leader Assassinated in Malaysia

Police in Malaysia confirm Kim Jong-nam, half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has died in Kuala Lumpur.

Jong-nam was scheduled to take a flight to Macau from Malaysia on Monday morning, but is said to have died enroute to the hospital. The exact cause of his death has not been confirmed by Malaysian authorities and Jong-nam’s body will be undergoing an autopsy.

In South Korea, however, media reports have surfaced that two North Korean female operatives allegedly poisoned Jong-nam with “poisoned needles.”
