3-Year-Old Brooklyn Boy Dies in Case of Alleged Abuse; Mom's Boyfriend Charged Last Week

 

A 3-year-old boy has died less than a week after he was found with critical injuries at his home in Brooklyn, police said late Sunday night. 

Jaden Jordan was pronounced dead at a hospital on Sunday. He had been fighting for his life after suffering a fractured skull and a lacerated spleen and liver. 

Jordan was on a ventilator and in critical condition at Coney Island Hospital throughout last week. Doctors weren't able to determine how long he had had the injuries. 

Salvatore Lucchesse, 24, was charged with assault and other crimes in the case. He is the boyfriend of Jordan's mother and is due back in court Friday.
