Sanders Collecting Donations for Victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti

The following statement was submitted today by New York State Senator James Sanders, Jr.

Hurricane Matthew made land fall in Haiti just one week ago on October 4, 2016. The Category 4 storm has left thousands displaced from their homes and in dire need of resources. I urge you to stand with us in this effort to help prepare resources and relief to Haiti in their time of need. Your donations and supplies will provide much needed relief and assistance in Haiti as the emergency crisis situation escalates.

Donations can be dropped off at my District Office at 142-01 Rockaway Blvd, South Ozone Park, NY 11436. We will be collecting items such as non-perishable foods, canned goods, water, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, soap, towels, paper towels, blankets, undergarments, flashlights, batteries, toiletries, clothing, children’s toys and more.

Most Sincerely Yours,
James Sanders Jr.
State Senator, 10th District
