New York's former top cop blasted the Black Lives Matter movement
during a recent radio program, calling the ongoing protests
“ridiculous.”
“They’re silly and they are not going to impact on anything,” Raymond
Kelly said, referring to the Millions March NYC protests in City Hall
Park organized by Black Lives Matter and other grassroots organizations.
“It is so ridiculous and myopic ... this one group is concerned about
black lives more than any other group.”
Speaking on the John Gambling Show, AM 970, Kelly told guest host Frank
Morano that the anti-cop protests across the country do nothing but
“depress” police officers.
He acknowledged that some recent shootings of unarmed black men should be investigated.
