Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton formally announced
Senator Tim Kaine as her running mate at a rally in Miami. She talked
about her party’s vision of building ridges and embracing diversity and
said Tim Kaine lives and shares those values. The Virginia senator
talked about his background including his life in public service and
criticized the foreign policy positions of Republican presidential
candidate Donald Trump. The rally was held at Florida International
University Arena.
