By
Assemblywoman Barbara Clark, a long-time legislator representing Queens, has died at age 76.
Ms. Clark, a Democrat, died Monday night at home of natural causes, her office told the Daily News.
Remembrances quickly poured in for the Democrat, who who was first
elected to represent Queens Village in 1986 and has served for 29 years.

servant. Over the course of her nearly 30 year career in the Assembly,
Barbara Clark was a true legend of Queens – a proud leader who worked
tirelessly to support her community and better the lives of those around

working families in her district and across New York, and she will be
greatly missed. On behalf of all New Yorkers, I offer my deepest
condolences to her family, her friends and to the people she has
served.”
