Anderson, the legendary African-American contralto, sang at the Lincoln
Memorial exactly 75 years ago after she was refused a performance at
Washington's Constitution Hall. On Wednesday, young people gathered to
commemorate Anderson's effort to strike out against racism through the
power and beauty of her voice. Jeffrey Brown reports.
