Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and Vice Chair of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff General Paul Selva spoke at a September 11, 2001, remembrance
ceremony for family members of those killed in the attack. The ceremony
also included a moment of silence at the Pentagon Memorial to honor
those killed.
