Tributes Paid to ‘Titanic’ Composer James Horner, Killed in Plane Crash

Tributes have been paid to the Hollywood film composer James Horner, who’s been killed in a light plane crash in southern California.

Best-known for the scores for the likes of Titanic and Braveheart, the 61-year-old was reportedly piloting the small private aircraft when it came down in a remote area north of Santa Barbara on Monday.

The crash caused a fire that scarred more than an acre of bushland.

Horner’s death was confirmed by his assistant Sylvia Patrycja on her Facebook page.
