Statement by the Press Secretary on H.R. 2048
On Tuesday, June 02, 2015, the President signed into law:
H.R.
2048, the "Uniting and Strengthening America by Fulfilling Rights and
Ensuring Effective Discipline Over Monitoring Act of 2015" or the "USA
FREEDOM Act of 2015," which reforms and extends certain authorities
relating to foreign intelligence gathering and for other purposes.
