The 9/11 Decade: Global Reflections


In the lead up to the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, Al Jazeera asked people around the globe to reflect on the effect those events had on the world around them.

In the first video, Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan's former ambassador to the United States, reflects on the effects of the attacks of September 11, 2001, on the United States, in an interview with Al Jazeera.


Eldar Supatayev is a film director/producer and graduate of the Westpoint Military Academy in the U.S.


Gulzat Orozaliyeva is a sheep and horse herder in Kyrgyzstan.


Surinder Oberoi is a former journalist who lives in India.
