South African President Launches Probe Into Mine Killings


The women of a South African community are coming to terms with a week of bloodshed that culminated with the deaths of 34 workers were shot by police on Thursday during a protest at the Lonmin platinum mine in Marikana. Some have described the incident as a massacre while police are at pains to outline their case for using lethal force. Al Jazeera's Tania Page reports from Rustenburg, South Africa.
