Freeman, Jr. Freeman was an accomplished actor whose television credits include the Cosby Show and Law and Order.
The San Antonio, Texas, native was best known for his exceptional performance as the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in the Spike Lee epic Malcolm X.
Freeman also taught acting as a Howard University professor.
