Romanians Vote on Presidential Impeachment

Traian Basescu, once enjoying an unassailable popularity, has been suspended by parliament, accused of meddling in government affairs. The suspended President denies the accusations and is urging supporters to boycott the vote that would unseat him. Meanwhile, the Romanian government wants as many people as possible to come out and vote in this referendum. The polls suggest that if enough voters turn out on Sunday, Mr. Basescu will be impeached, as 64 per cent of those saying they will vote want him out. Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Bucharest.
