Seeking "Leaders of Tomorrow" Candidates

"From The G-Man" Now Accepting Submissions for Weekly Feature

As creator and managing editor of "From The G-Man", I'm extremely proud to announce the successful launch of this week's new feature segment, "Leaders of Tomorrow". The students of the Aquinas Society at the Immaculate Conception School were the first to be profiled, and the response to the new segment has been overwhelmingly positive.

With so many negative images and news stories out there concerning the youth, particularly youth of color, I believe it is crucially important that the other side of the story be told. Thus, From The G-Man plans to showcase kids and adolescents -- in the age range of 12 to 21 -- of all races that are having a positive impact in their community.

If your child, or the child or a friend or relative, achieved a major accomplishment, is an exceptional student, is active in the church, volunteers on a regular basis or has done something that makes them qualify as a leader of tomorrow, please do the following:

1. Email a brief bio, no more than a page, summarizing the child's accomplishment(s).

2. Email a medium-sized, digital photo of the child, and make sure they're smiling, folks!

3. All parents, teachers or caretakers must email their name, address and contact number. After doing so, a call will be placed to verify the profile information and confirm your consent to have your child or children profiled in "Leaders of Tomorrow".

If you have several children that meet the criteria, I respectfully request that their bios not be submitted individually. They will be showcased in the feature as a duo or group, so only submit a photo and one page summary of what they have done or are doing to make a difference.

That's it, pretty much. Once the information is received, a short article will be constructed and posted on the site for extended family, friends and the world to see! The link to the article will be emailed to all parents once the article goes "live" so they can share it with whomever they wish.

You may email the three aforementioned items, or any questions you may have, to this news site at FromTheGMan@gmail.com.

Okay, "G-Fans" and supporters, let's get to work! With your help, From The G-Man is about to prove there are many caring, good and smart kids, teens and adolescents in communities throughout the country, despite the recent barrage of negative news stories being posted on other news sites about young people.

This request is from the heart and......From The G-Man.
