SPLC: Sessions Calls for Death Penalty in Drug Cases, but It's Unconstitutional

Attorney General Jeff Session has instructed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in numerous cases involving drugs, including some trafficking offenses. It's an approach that harkens to America's failed War on Drugs. Applying the death penalty in such cases would be not only destructive but unconstitutional.
