Feliz Family, Bronx Pols to Hold Candlelight Vigil for Zoila Feliz

On November 3 at 6:30 p.m., a candlelight vigil will be conducted by the family of Zoila Feliz, Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo, Senator Ruben Diaz, Councilwoman Annabel Palma and Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda

On November 1, 2017, Feliz was found dead by her mother Margarita Feliz inside their apartment on Stratford Avenue in the Soundview section of the Bronx. The victim’s son, Jaylen, who turned two- years-old on the day of the killing, was found standing by his mother’s body, but was not physically harmed.

Zoila's 22-year-old ex-boyfriend, and the father of Jaylen, has since been arrested and is facing murder, manslaughter, assault and weapons possession charges.

The vigil will be held at 1161 Stratford Avenue in the Bronx.
