Push 4 Peace was created in 2011 in Newark, New Jersey by HOT 97's Lisa Evers, her “Street Soldiers” team and then Mayor Cory Booker, to promote alternatives to violence and gang involvement. From that year on, Evers has been able to take Push 4 Peace to new heights; bringing together hip hop's leading artists, public figures, leaders and members of the community to talk about real issues.

Former guests of Push 4 Peace included Rappers Prodigy and Young MA, TV Personalities Somaya Reece, Ceasar of Black Ink, Lady Luck, Former NFL Player Tony Richardson, Sirius XM Host Torae and civil rights leader Tamika Mallory, to name a few.

This year, with the help of the world's top selling artists, Push 4 Peace will continue to promote positivity and change through music and discussion.
