Assemblyman Blake: 'Donate a Backpack or School Supplies Today'

The following statement was submitted today by District 79 Assemblyman Michael Blake.

Friends,

We all know the anxiety students can feel when preparing to go back to school. Help us in our effort to ensure that every student in need has a backpack and school supplies on the first day of school.

One way to donate supplies is through a program being sponsored by my office with the support of the Children's Aid Society and the New York Ketchum Social Responsibility committee at Ketchum. Donate a backpack or schools supplies today

To make it easier for you to assist, we have created a Back-to-School wish list full of essential school supplies requested by local community groups in our district. This wish list is available through Amazon.

Many of the items on the list have free shipping for Prime members or free shipping on orders more than $49.

Please note that school supplies purchased through the wish list will automatically be shipped to The Children's Aid Society and will be distributed by my office.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to make a positive impact on the lives of students in our local communities.
