Meeting Will Address Gun Violence as a Public Health Crisis
LIFE Camp, Inc., founded by leading national anti-violence activist Erica Ford, will hold the Inaugural Peace Week Town Hall at Pope Auditorium in Fordham Law School on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 at 7pm.
The event will feature acclaimed director
Spike Lee and world-renowned peace and spiritual leader Deepak Chopra.
Hosted by
Dr. Christina Greer and Tara Sheahan, the Peace Week Town
Hall will feature an open dialogue looking at violence as a disease. It
will also ask how the police and community can work together to end
violence and what our elected officials can do
to end violence in their communities.
Special guests include Oresa Napper-Williams, civil rights activist Michael Skolnik, Nza-Ari Khepra and many others.
