Creator of the World-Renown "Sylvia's" Restaurant Was Battling Alzheimer's Disease
NBC News is reporting that Sylvia Woods, a beloved member of the Harlem, New York community and creator of the world-famous soul food restaurant "Sylvia's" has died.
According to family members, Woods succumbed to complications resulting from Alzheimer's disease. She died at her home in Westchester.
