Marissa Alexander Rally Cancelled

Event Postponed as Tropical Storm Beryl Slams Jacksonville

A source has informed From The G-Man that the May 29th rally in Jacksonville, Florida for Marissa Alexander, which was scheduled to start at 8 am, has been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Beryl.

Information regarding a new date and time for the rally will be published as soon as it becomes available.

Organizations and civic groups that planned rallies in other states and communities are urged to proceed.

Marissa Alexander, a mother of three, who had no prior criminal record, was attacked on August 1, 2010 by her husband, Rico Gray. Official court documents revealed that Gray had a well-documented history of domestic abuse.
