Excavation Begins on the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem

Facility Aims to Promote Jewish Unity and Universal Respect

At a meeting at the Milken Institute in Los Angeles, Simon Wiesenthal Center Dean and founder Rabbi Marvin Hier and Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem architect Michael Sedlacek  met with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Birkat to update him on the beginning of excavation at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem site.

Mayor Birkat expressed his enthusiastic support of the project by telling Rabbi Hier he is convinced that the MOTJ will be a source of new employment opportunities as well as a major attraction for tourists visiting Israel from around the world.
